Supplies that Students
Need to Provide

Kindergarten

  • A large book bag

  • Box of family size tissues

  • 2 boxes of small 8 count Crayola Crayons (no jumbo size)

  • A bottle of Elmer's Glue

  • 4 glue sticks

  • Ziploc Bags (quart or gallon)

  • 1 pack of #2 pencils

  • Sneakers worn each day

  • A storable snack for the cupboard (at the beginning of each month)

  • Paper lunch bags

  • Paper plates (large or small)

  • Erasers

  • One package of Dry-Erase markers

As the year continues we may request other items, but this will be a good start.  You may bring these items in on "Meet Your Teacher Day".

Also, milk and orange juice money may be paid for an entire month at a time. Water, orange juice, and 2% will be available.  A drink can be sent from home as well.  Please do not send soft drinks, cool-aid, or chocolate milk. Please make one choice per week only.

The cost for 2% milk/week = $1.75 or $0.35/day

Orange juice/week = $1.50 or $0.30/day

Pre-1st Grade

  • Bookbag

  • Pencils

  • Erasers

  • Hand pencil sharpener

  • Small box of crayons (8 pack)

  • Several glue sticks or small Elmer’s glue

  • Scissors (Fiskars are best)

  • Small supply box (to keep everything together), but not so large that it will crowd desk.

  • Kleenex for classroom use

  • Mead composition book (for journals) – NOT a spiral-bound notebook

  • We encourage you to purchase several glue sticks, pencils, and boxes of crayons (8 pack) during the "summer school supply sales" as these items often need to be replenished throughout the school year.


2nd Grade

  • Crayons (at least 24)

  • Package of pencils

  • Regular erasers

  • Sneakers for gym

  • Container for crayons

  • Children’s size scissors

  • Glue stick or white school glue

What you DO NOT need:

  • A loose-leaf notebook for trapper keeper


3rd Grade

  • Pencils

  • Erasers

  • Package of loose-leaf paper (not college rule)

  • 2 Spiral notebooks

  • Scissors

  • Small box of crayons

  • Colored pencils

  • 3 x 5 index cards

  • Box of Kleenex for class use

  • Glue stick

  • Ruler 12" with metric also (plastic or wooden)

  • (5) Pocket folders

  • Hand held pencil sharpener

  • 1" 3 ring binder with dividers


4th Grade

  • Pencils

  • Erasers

  • Loose-leaf paper (not a big notebook and NOT college rule)

  • Five spiral notebooks in different colors

  • Scissors

  • Small box of crayons or colored pencils

  • Colored pencils

  • Five pocket folders for homework

  • 3 x 5 index cards

  • Kleenex

  • Glue or glue stick

  • Pencil sharpener

  • Ruler 6" or 12" with metric also

  • Protractor and compass

Pens will NOT be needed until after Christmas. Assignment sheets will be provided.


5th Grade

We would like to welcome your child to fifth grade- We'd like to explain a few of our policies now, and we took forward to meeting all of you soon.

  • Homework
    Each child will have a certain amount of homework every night. Work should be neat and legible. It must be handed in on time, or a student will find that he/she is falling behind, and unable to keep up with new skill work. If children are out of school due to illness, please send for assignments when possible.

  • Milk and juice
    Morning milk and orange juice will be optional, but can be ordered on the first day of each week. There will be no regular snacks in 4th, 5th, or 6th grades next year; however, birthday treats are still welcome anytime.

  • Supplies needed for fall
    black or blue pens
    pencils
    hand held sharpeners
    loose leaf paper for doing assignments
    6 folders with pockets
    scissors
    glue or gluestick
    ruler
    crayons or colored pencils
    Kleenex
    (Please, NO Trapper Keepers, as there is insufficient room to store them.)

  • Assignment booklets
    These will be provided by the tifth grade on a monthly basis. Students are expected to use these booklets daily.

  • You can help your child have a pleasant year by doing several things, such as making sure homework is done, checking assignment booklets each night, helping study spelling words, reviewing for tests, encouraging him/her to read independently, making sure that he/she gets enough steep and eats breakfast, and showing an interest in what your child does at school.

We are anxious to provide the children with a quality education, and look forward to working with you next year.


6th Grade

  • Paper – loose-leaf or tablet only. NO SPIRAL NOTEBOOK PAPER will be accepted for any assignment. White only.

  • No. 2 lead pencils-regular pencils (no mechanical pencils)

  • Ball point pen – blue or black only

  • Erasers

  • Ruler (standard and metric)

  • Colored pencils

  • (1) large 5-subject spiral notebook

  • Kleenex

  • Scissors

  • Protractor (clear plastic)

  • Glue Stick

  • Compass (metal)

  • Box of colored tabs (to divide notebook into subjects)

  • (5) colored pocket folders (1 red, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 blue, 1 orange)

  • (2) single subject spiral notebooks for math class

  • (2) 100 packs of 3" x 5" lined index cards
