Vaccination Clinic Set for May 25
The Moravia Central School District will be hosting a Pfizer vaccine clinic for students on May 25.
The clinic is for students who are 12 years or older. Parents or guardians must complete a consent form for each student wishing to participate.
Consent forms are being created by the Cayuga County Health Department and will be distributed to parents next week.
Only one consent form is required for both doses. The second doses are scheduled for June 15.
The clinic is one of several being hosted by schools across the Cayuga County area, with others being held in Cato-Meridian, Port Byron, Weedsport, Southern Cayuga, Auburn, Union Springs, Jordan-Elbridge and Skaneateles. The clinics are a collaborative effort between the districts, the Cayuga County Health Department, East Hill Family Medical Inc. and City of Auburn Fire Dept./trained EMTs.
For more information on the Moravia clinic, contact high school nurse Jennifer Read.
If you have specific questions about the vaccine, please contact the Cayuga County Health Department at 315-253-1560.
