    The Noreen Gettel Memorial Scholarship - (sponsored by the Moravia Athletic Booster Club)  Local Scholarship! Awarded to student(s) continuing their education at a post-secondary school who is active in athletics and who displays the following characteristics both on the field or court and in the classroom: genuine, brings joy to others, caring, well liked by peers, empathic, quiet leader and committed to do well in both sports and academics.  Download application: Noreen Gettel Scholarship  Deadline: May 3, 2024 to the HS Counseling Office.

     

    Ruth Ann Wood Memorial Scholarship - Local Scholarship!     Moravia Volunteer Fire Department Scholarship - Local Scholarship! Awarded to a senior continuing their studies at a college, technical, trade or post-secondary educational institution.     Don Jones Memorial Scholarship  - Local Scholarship!  Given to a graduating senior at MCS for the purpose of supporting continuing education.     Becker Farms Scholarship - Local Scholarship! Awarded to any senior graduating from MCS with a passion for agriculture. Download Application: Becker Farms Application. Deadline: May 3, 2024 to the HS Counseling Office.

     

    James Fouts Memorial Scholarship - Local Scholarship! Available to a senior who works hard academically, chooses to enroll in agricultural classes, displays a commitment to the agriculture field, and demonstrates both leadership and integrity.     Moravia Music Booster Scholarship - Local Scholarship! This scholarship is set up to assist and award graduating seniors of the Moravia Central High School music program who have plans to continue their education at a community college or university after graduating from MCHS.     Moravia-Locke Chamber of Commerce Award - Local Scholarship! $500 to a graduating senior pursuing a career in business. Download Application: ML Chamber application.

    VFW Auxiliary Senior Educational Incentive Award - Local Scholarship! Awarded to an MCS senior who has been accepted into a program leading to certification or a degree in the medical field.     APT Scholarship - Local scholarship! The Alliance of Parents and Teachers of Moravia Central School will sponsor a $500.00 award for a student that has overcome an obstacle during their high school years.  The student selected will have achieved his/her goals through perseverance and determination and exhibited tolerance of others.  Download application:   APT Scholarship   Deadline: May 10, 2024 to the HS Counseling Office.

     

    Future Technician Scholarship - Scholarships available for graduating seniors interested in a future in the heavy-duty truck industry.  Trucking Scholarships

     

    Eisenhower Scholarship Program - Open to any high school senior who plans to continue their studies in a liberal arts program at either a two- or four-year college. Up to $5,000.  Apply online here.  Deadline: June 1, 2024.

     

    The Steen Family Memorial Scholarship - Established in memory of Eric E. Steen, brother of Myron Steen, a member of the Sons of the American Legion. The Scholarship recognizes a child or grandchild of a member of the American Legion, Sons of the American Legion, or the American Legion Auxiliary.     The John Manilla Memorial Vocational Scholarship - Established in memory of John H. Manilla, a lifelong resident of Skaneateles, NY. Mr. Manilla graduated from the State University of New York at Delhi.  Upon graduation, he started the John H.     Lariat Future Innovators Foundation STEM Scholarship - The Lariat STEM Scholarship Program was created for students  ages 18 to 24, who are from low-income families in rural areas, to pursue their passion in math and science. Apply at: Lariat STEM Scholarship   Deadline: June 15, 2024.

     

    The 18K Ryan Yebba Memorial Mental Health Scholarship- Open to any high school junior or senior who is interested in going into a mental health field may apply for this scholarship if they’re devoted to creating a positive social change and progress in our schools. $18,000. Deadline: May 10, 2024.
