Class of 2014 Valedictorian: The Moravia School District is pleased to congratulate Class of 2014 Valedictorian, Christopher Caza.  Chris is the son of Chris and Lily Caza.  He achieved this distinction by earning a grade point average of 97.55.  Chris will be attending Onondaga Community College in the fall majoring in Science and Music Education with plans to transfer to Ithaca College to pursue a career in education. ... more >>
Benson Named Salutatorian of Class of 2014: Chandler Benson, son of John and Cathy Benson, was named Salutatorian of the Class of 2014.  He earned this distinction by having a grade point average of 96.7.  Chandler plans to attend LeMoyne College in the fall to study physics and later plans to pursue a masters degree in Aerospace and mechanical engineering.  Earlier in the year, we celebrated Chandler's official signing ceremony ... more >>
7th Grade Watershed Day: Moravia Watershed Day “Awareness” allows us to make better decisions in life and that is the theme in Seventh Grade at Moravia Middle School.  This year’s theme revolved around the importance of water in our lives, demonstrated in novels and articles in that students read in ELA and Enrichment classes. 8th Grade Science Day: This year the Moravia 8th grade class finally had good weather for their annual Science Day down at the Owasco Flats Nature Reserve. After two weeks of classroom preparation the students spent an entire school day out at the flats focusing on both the positive and negative impacts humans have on nature.
