Moravia High School is buzzing with pride as student Eli Landis was recently named the recipient of the prestigious Cayuga Media Group Distinguished Youth Award for the current month.

The award recognizes outstanding young individuals who demonstrate excellence, leadership, and positive impact within their community and school. Landis was nominated for the honor and officially received the award in a special presentation at the Jr. Sr. High School.

Dan Newton from Cayuga Media Group visited the Moravia campus to personally present the award to Eli and congratulate him on this significant achievement.

"We are incredibly proud of Eli for earning this highly esteemed recognition," said Jeff Green, Jr. Sr. High School Principal. "This award highlights his dedication and commitment, and he truly exemplifies the spirit of excellence we foster here at Moravia Jr. Sr. High School. It was an honor to host Mr. Newton for the presentation and celebrate Eli's success."
