  • The Moravia CSD is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Special Education Teacher to fill an anticipated vacancy in a co-taught primary classroom.     Responsibilities

         Co-teach in a primary classroom, working alongside the general education teacher to provide high-quality instruction for all students.

         Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
    Differentiate instruction and provide accommodations and modifications to meet diverse learning needs.

         Use data to monitor progress and adjust instruction accordingly.

         Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff.

         Actively participate in team meetings, professional learning, and collaborative planning.

    Qualifications

         Valid state certification in Special Education (or eligibility).

         Experience in co-teaching or inclusion settings preferred.

         Strong communication and collaboration skills.

         Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

  • Moravia Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for a Senior Typist.

    In this role, the successful candidate will provide clerical support to the Counseling Office, maintain accurate and up-to-date student records with a strong emphasis on daily attendance, and assist with the day-to-day operations of the High School Office.

    The salary for this position is $31,300, commensurate with experience. Moravia Central School District also offers excellent benefits, including membership in the New York State Retirement System.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Candidates must have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and one of the following:

         Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS-registered two-year college, or
     

         Two years of clerical experience, which must include keyboarding.

    This is a 12-month provisional civil service position. Upon hire, the selected candidate will be required to take the Civil Service Exam and must qualify for permanent placement.
