Free Summer Lunch Program Returns to Fillmore Glen

Free Summer Lunch Program Returns to Fillmore Glen
Families in the Moravia community will once again have access to free summer meals for children thanks to a partnership with the Central New York Food Bank and the Moravia Summer Recreation Program.
Beginning July 6 and continuing through August 14, free lunches will be served Monday through Friday at 12:00 p.m. in the old bathhouse at Fillmore Glen. The program is designed to help ensure that children have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer months while school is not in session.
Community members are encouraged to help spread the word so that families who may benefit from the program are aware of this valuable resource. The summer meal program provides an important service by helping children stay healthy, active, and ready to learn during the summer break.
In addition to the Fillmore Glen location, families can find other free summer meal sites across New York State by visiting SummerMealsNY.org.
The Moravia community is grateful for the continued support of the Central New York Food Bank and all those who help make this program possible each year.
