Free or Reduced Price Meals for Students

  • The Moravia Central School District Food Service Program is pleased to announce that all district schools will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) grant program during the 2023-2024 school year.

    Beginning the first day of school (September 5), EVERY STUDENT ENROLLED IN THE DISTRICT will receive one free complete breakfast and one free complete lunch each school day regardless of the family’s household income. This program is for students ONLY.

    Purchasing just milk will cost $0.65 and a complete second breakfast will cost $1.95 and a complete second lunch will cost $2.98. A la carte snacks and beverages will be available for purchase with cash or with funds on a student’s meal account.

    We believe this program will ease the financial burden on families and guarantee that all students receive healthy and nutritious meals that will help them excel in the classroom and their daily lives.

    We strongly encourage ALL families to complete the Community Eligibility (CEP) Household Income Eligibility form. This form is to determine eligibility for additional State and federal program benefits that your child(ren) may qualify for.
