Dear Moravia Schools Community,
At the June 10th Board of Education meeting, a group of community members spoke to the board and shared their concerns regarding the district's decision to close the fitness center to community members.
This decision was made during the 2026-2027 budget development process and was done after consideration being given to the cost of operating the facility as well as the difficulty in finding paid staff to supervise the use of it.
The community members who spoke provided suggestions that the district has considered. District leadership recognizes the value of the facility to the community and has formulated the following plan to allow for public use of the fitness center; albeit on a limited schedule.
Beginning July 1, 2026...
The fitness center will be open to community members...year round...from 5-7 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
To use the facility, a membership must be purchased prior to its use.
Fitness Center Membership- Community Members (non-student/staff/or coach):
All Fitness Center membership registrations and payments will now be managed through the Athletic Office and RhinoFit.
Membership Options:
- 6-Month Membership: $240
- 12-Month Membership: $460
Payment Options:
Payments can be made in one of the following ways:

Credit Card through RhinoFit online.

Cash at the Athletic Office.

Check made payable to the district and submitted to the Athletic Office.
RhinoFit will be used to manage memberships and track member information. If you have any questions regarding registration or payment, please contact the Athletic Office.
Student use schedules are being developed and will be shared with families. They will allow regular access for our students and student-athletes.
