Moravia CSD Begins Four-Year Strategic Planning Process

District seeks students, staff, families, Board members, and community voices to help shape the next four years
MORAVIA, NY | Moravia Central School District is beginning an important conversation about the future of the district, launching a four-year strategic planning process designed to identify priorities and help guide Moravia CSD in the years ahead.
The district is assembling a strategic planning committee that will bring together perspectives from across the Moravia community, including students, staff, Board of Education members, parents, and community members.
The committee will work collaboratively to examine and help shape priorities related to instruction, programming, and fiscal planning, creating a framework for the district’s continued growth and development.

Strategic planning is an opportunity to step back, look at where the district is today, and thoughtfully consider where Moravia CSD should focus its time, resources, and energy in the future.
The district is seeking committee members with a variety of experiences and perspectives. Whether you are a student who experiences our schools every day, a staff member working directly with students, a parent or family member, a Board member, or a community member invested in Moravia’s future, your perspective can contribute to the conversation.
Committee meetings will be scheduled during a combination of afternoon and evening times to provide opportunities for participation from members of the school community.
What Happens Next?
The district will review all interest-form submissions and follow up with applicants by mid-October with additional information about the committee and the strategic planning process.
