Millard Fillmore Elementary School will begin dismissing students early on Wednesdays, starting Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Walkers will be released at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and busses will leave at 2:10 p.m. moving forward.
The weekly early release model replaces our current system of using substitutes during the school day and ensures that teachers have dedicated, uninterrupted time for Professional Learning. This consistent, collaborative time strengthens our instructional practices and ultimately supports stronger student learning.
